Five Kingdom System - R.H. Whittaker ne 1969 mein diya. Ye system cell structure, body organisation, mode of nutrition aur reproduction ke basis par hai. Panch kingdoms hain: Monera, Protista, Fungi, Plantae, Animalia.

Monera - Bacteria isme aate hain. Ye prokaryotic hote hain. Cell wall hota hai lekin nucleus nahi hota.

Protista - Unicellular eukaryotic organisms. Example: Amoeba, Paramecium, Diatoms.

Fungi - Ye heterotrophic hote hain. Isme cell wall chitin ka bana hota hai. Example: Mushroom, Yeast, Penicillium.

Virus, Viroids aur Lichens - Virus non-living aur living ke border par hain. Viroids sirf RNA se bane hote hain. Lichens fungi aur algae ka symbiotic relationship hai.
